Although the amount of time required to complete a translation varies depending on the complexity and technicality of the subject matter, most translators will typically be able to translate around 2,000-2,500 words per day.
In addition to my degree in Modern European Languages and my professional experience in the finance sector, I have also been awarded the Chartered Institute of Linguist’s Diploma in Translation, a postgraduate level equivalent qualification intended to provide a measure of professional competence.
